The Workshop Folkestone

Terms

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These cover this website. If you are a member, your membership agreement is a
separate thing and it takes precedence over anything here.

Who we are

The Workshop Folkestone Limited, 32-40 Tontine Street, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1JU.
Email haydn@theworkshopfolkestone.co.uk, or call 01303 764270.

What this site is for

Finding out about the space, booking a tour or a taster, buying a day pass,
booking a meeting room, reading what we write, and if you are a member, using the
members' pages. Use it for those things and we have no argument.

Bookings and payment

Tours and taster sessions are free and you can cancel them by replying to the
confirmation email. Day passes, meeting rooms and memberships are handled through
Spacebring, and their terms and cancellation rules apply to those.

Prices and availability

We keep prices and availability on this site accurate and they come from the live
system rather than being typed in by hand. They can still change, and showing a
price here is not an offer we are bound to. If something is wrong we will tell you
before you pay, not after.

The job board

Members post the jobs. We read every listing before it goes up, but we are not the
employer and we do not check the claims in a listing. Applications go directly to
the company advertising. We will take down anything misleading, discriminatory or
not a real job, and we do not need a reason to decline a listing.

Things you post

Whatever you write - a job listing, a directory entry, a support report - stays
yours. By posting it you let us show it on this site and in our newsletters. Do
not post anything you do not have the right to post, and do not post anything
unlawful, misleading or abusive.

Tide times and other local information

The tide times come from the UK Hydrographic Office and are predictions. Heights
are above chart datum, which is not the same as the depth of the water. They are
there because they are interesting and useful, not because they are safe to plan
around. Do not use this site to make decisions about going in the sea.

What we do not promise

We try to keep the site up and correct, but we do not guarantee it will always be
available or free of mistakes. We are not liable for losses caused by the site
being down, by an error on it, or by anything on a site we link to. Nothing here
limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for
fraud, because it cannot.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of
England and Wales deal with any dispute.
